Putrajaya, 31 October – Mr. Nordin Yahaya of the Deputy Vice Chancellor’s Office (Student and Alumni Affairs) becomes the first staff member of UPSI to garner an Award For Excellent Service for the year 2016 from the Ministry of Higher Education.
Mr. Nordin received the award from the Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh at “Jasamu Dikenang” ceremony which is held at the Marriot Hotel, Putrajaya.
He received the award for his contribution to the Ministry and UPSI by participating in a golf tournament which in turn also leads him to take home a Certificate of Appreciation, a medal and a Premium Savings Certificate worth RM1000.
