{"id":21327,"date":"2024-12-20T15:49:46","date_gmt":"2024-12-20T07:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/epena.com.my\/?p=21327"},"modified":"2024-12-20T15:49:49","modified_gmt":"2024-12-20T07:49:49","slug":"upsi-nifad-launch-meta-centre-for-education-technology-advancement-in-uzbekistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epena.com.my\/index.php\/2024\/12\/20\/upsi-nifad-launch-meta-centre-for-education-technology-advancement-in-uzbekistan\/","title":{"rendered":"UPSI-NIFAD Launch Meta-Centre for Education Technology Advancement in Uzbekistan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By: Dr Marzita Mansor, Faculty of Computing and Meta Technology, UPSI<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Editor: Dr Ahmad Wiraputra Selamat, Faculty of Computing and Meta Technology, UPSI<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, 18 December, 2024<\/strong> \u2014 A groundbreaking collaboration between Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), Malaysia, and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design (NIFAD), Uzbekistan, has been officially launched with the establishment of the Meta-Centre, UPSI @ NIFAD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre, formally known as the Centre for Learning and Meta-Technology, aims to revolutionize educational technology and training for educators in Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The momentous event took place at NIFAD\u2019s headquarters, where key representatives from both institutions gathered to finalize the first phase of the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UPSI is represented by Dr. Marzita Mansor from the Faculty of Computing and Meta-Technology, also member of UPSI\u2019s EduGreen Special Interest Group (SIG). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/epena.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/uzbek2-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/epena.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/uzbek2-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/epena.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/uzbek2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/epena.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/uzbek2-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/epena.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/uzbek2-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/epena.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/uzbek2-600x800.jpg 600w, https:\/\/epena.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/uzbek2.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They were met by prominent NIFAD officials, including Professor of the Art Management Department, Professor Dr. Umida Zunnunova and Head of the International Communications Department Mrs. Shohsanam Shukuralieva, as well as other members of NIFAD\u2019s committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The high-level meeting was marked by detailed deliberations on the Centre\u2019s operational framework, with a primary focus on the activities scheduled for Phase One. Both sides agreed on a roadmap that outlines specific training programs, resource allocation, and milestone tracking for the project\u2019s initial rollout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Marzita Mansor emphasized UPSI\u2019s crucial role in driving the project forward, highlighting the university\u2019s commitment to providing technological resources and academic expertise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis Centre represents a bold step towards empowering educators with the tools and knowledge required for modern education,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UPSI will spearhead the management and execution of the project, with clearly defined responsibilities for UPSI\u2019s representatives and NIFAD\u2019s committee members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, resource allocation discussions culminated in a consensus on the required technological infrastructure and operational support, with both parties pledging to contribute essential resources to ensure the Centre\u2019s sustainability and success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the launch of Phase One, discussions also explored the potential for future joint initiatives.
