The main funding of this project was provided by the Research Management and Innovation Centre, UPSI, to ensure knowledge and skills can be transferred to community members related to digital marketing, especially using social media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program was meant to familiarise the local community with the significance of digital technology in the marketing of local products, small businesses, and agrotourism activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
By using practical sharing, the participants were exposed to simple video marketing preparation to promote products to larger audiences using TikTok, which can also be used to help boost the economy of local entrepreneurs at a community level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the participants were provided hand-on tutorial on how to make the content of their videos interesting for their target audience and how to be consistent in posting. The necessity to attract the attention of the viewers in the first few seconds of a video was also highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, the residents were given content management techniques like choosing the appropriate posting time, using the relevant hashtags, and interacting with the viewers by replying to comments as a measure of maximizing the audience interactions and visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Tok Shazali Hassan, the Head of MPKK Kampung Rahmat, Sungkai, the program was very useful and practical in terms of knowledge sharing and highly relevant to the cooperative as well as the village community..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the record, the first phase of this KTP program was conducted in early July 2025, involving entrepreneurs of Kampung Menderang Sungkai, where they got an opportunity to promote various products and services through TikTok, such as homestays, madu kelulut, village products, and fruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
