The delegation, comprising representatives from the Neoteric Education Initiatives Centre (NiCE) and the National Child Development Research Centre (NCDRC), was warmly received by Mr. Kurt Yang, Overseas Channel Sales Director of Bambu Lab, and his team. The visit was facilitated by Mr. Gu Guoxing, General Manager of Qinghai International Service Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Mr. Chenya of Jiangsu Malaysia-China Education Consulting Co., Ltd., with support from Global Link Education & Trading Sdn. Bhd.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on the application of emerging technologies in education, including 3D printing, digital fabrication, design thinking, STEM education, and future skills development. Discussions focused on potential collaboration in teacher training, educational innovation, research, and student engagement programmes.

The engagement is closely aligned with UPSI’s aspiration to develop Sekolah Seri Budiman (SSB) as an Innovative School by UPSI, where technology-driven and future-oriented learning approaches are embedded within the educational ecosystem. Both parties also explored the possibility of organising an International Future Innovators Challenge 2027 involving schools and universities across ASEAN, as well as jointly designing and developing innovative educational programmes aligned with the Malaysian curriculum to nurture future-ready learners and strengthen educational innovation in Malaysia.

The visit reflects UPSI’s ongoing commitment to strengthening international partnerships and advancing educational transformation through innovation and emerging technologies.
