Tanjung Malim, Perak, 13 July 2024 – In the growing interest of digitalization and advancement of information technology, it is of necessary and imperative to re-examine the founding roots of education. Therefore, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) through Centre of Academic Development has organized two sharing sessions that value the human interactions.

On 3rd of July, a talk titled “What Does It Mean to Be Human “Education, A Human Endeavour”” was delivered by Mr Anas Matsham from Human Governance Institute Inc. to about 50 academics of UPSI.  Human Governance Institute was founded by the late Prof. Dr Arfah Salleh, former President and CEO of Putra Business School. In attendance also were Mr Zul Faqar Muhammad Fadzil, Chief Financial Officer, Human Governance Institute Inc., and Mr Azlan Sharom, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Insan Siddiq Berhad.

While on Friday, 12th of July 2024, Prof. Lan Ahn Nguyen Luu, Director of The Institute of Intercultural Psychology, Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary shared her insightful talk on “Acculturation & Adaptation of International Students – Practical Implications”. The sharing session was co-organized with Faculty of Computing and Meta Technology in parallel with Erasmus program. Both talks were held in e-Learning Building, Sultan Abdul Jalil Shah Campus, UPSI.
