JOHOR, 16 December 2025 – International, Mobility and Advanced Education Centre (IMAC), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), supports the participation of UPSI’s international students at CONNECTU: Culture Connect, held at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).
The programme offered an enriching multicultural experience, showcasing cultural booths and performances representing various countries. UPSI’s international students had the opportunity to explore the exhibitions, traditional performances, and learn about the customs and traditions of different nations in a vibrant, interactive environment.
“Events like Culture Connect provide our international students with a broader understanding of diverse cultures and traditions, helping them feel more connected to the ASEAN and global community,” said Dr. Nor Fadila binti Kasim, Deputy Director of IMAC.



The visit allowed UPSI’s students to engage with peers from other universities in an informal, educational setting, further enhancing their intercultural awareness and appreciation for diversity. Overall, the programme served as a valuable experience for UPSI international students, reinforcing the importance of cultural exchange, unity, and collaboration among universities in Malaysia.
