The “EGOAL: MAIN BIJAK MENANG” futsal tournament, part of the Bijak Digital campaign, wrapped up triumphantly on December 13, 2025, at Gelanggang Futsal FELCRA Berhad in Changkat Sulaiman. Organized by UPSI students, the event fused competitive futsal with digital literacy messaging, attracting teams from local communities near Sungkai.
In a nail-biting final, MARID CHAMP clinched the championship with a 4-2 victory over BVFT FC, showcasing sharp teamwork and “smart play” tactics. UPSI’s own representative team, CADERK secured third place in the playoff match. The tournament featured ten teams in total, with standout performances highlighted on Bijak Digital’s social media page.
“Through this E-Goal program, we not only strengthened the bonds between the youth and the elderly in the FELCRA Changkat Sulaiman area, but we also gained new knowledge about digital literacy,” said Ahmad Faizal Bin Jamaludin (FELCRA Changkat Sulaiman Area Manager).
Bijak Digital leveraged the tournament to engage youth on responsible tech use, aligning with UPSI’s Communication Department media projects. Organizers plan more hybrid events combining sports and education. Follow @bijakdigital.upsi for photos and videos.
